// integration health check

Something in your stack stopped talking to something else. I'll tell you why.

Orders not reaching your fulfilment system. Product images not syncing from your supplier feed. A webhook that used to just work and now doesn't. I'll diagnose it for a fixed fee, write up exactly what's broken and why, and give you a prioritised plan to fix it, before you commit to anything bigger.

Something stopped syncing and nobody's quite sure why. The developer who built it has moved on, stopped answering emails, or wants an open ended retainer just to have a look. You don't want to sign up for hourly billing with no idea how many hours it'll take, and you don't want another discovery call that goes nowhere. You want someone to look at the actual problem, tell you what's wrong, and give you a straight answer on what it'll take to fix.

01

Book

Email me what's broken. We agree scope and the fixed price upfront, then you send access to whatever's relevant: admin panel, API keys, codebase, logs.

02

Investigate

I dig into the code, the API calls, the webhooks, and the logs to find the actual root cause, not just where the symptom shows up.

03

Report

You get a written report: what's broken, why, and a prioritised fix plan with effort estimates for each item. Delivered within 5 business days.

NZ$750 fixed, agreed before I start

One flat fee for a defined health check on one integration or sync. No hourly billing, no meter running while I investigate.

If you decide to have me implement the fixes afterwards, the health check fee is credited against that work. Low risk first engagement, not a sunk cost.

e-commerce · supplier feed

"Our product images stopped syncing from our supplier feed."

Images looked fine in the admin panel but never reached the storefront. Root cause turned out to be a changed field name on the supplier's side that quietly broke a mapping step. Fix plan covered a quick patch and a more resilient long term option, each with an effort estimate.

Shopify · fulfilment

"Orders stopped reaching our fulfilment system."

Orders were placed and paid for but never made it through to the warehouse. Root cause was an expired API token failing silently on retries. Fix plan included renewing the token plus basic monitoring so it wouldn't fail unnoticed again.

webhooks · inventory

"A webhook that used to update inventory in real time just stopped."

Stock levels were drifting out of sync between two systems. Root cause was a webhook endpoint returning an error that nobody was logging, so nobody knew it had stopped firing. Fix plan covered the fix plus a simple alert for next time.

These are anonymised, illustrative scenarios based on the type of problem I diagnose, not client testimonials.

Do you fix the problem as part of this?

Not by default. The health check is diagnosis: a written report and a prioritised fix plan. If you want me to implement the fixes, that's a separate quote, and the health check fee is credited against it.

What if the problem turns out to be bigger than expected?

Scope is fixed to diagnosing the issue we agree on at the start. If the investigation turns up something much bigger, I'll tell you before doing more work, not bill you extra without agreement first.

What do you need from me to get started?

A description of what's broken and when it started, plus access to whatever's relevant: admin panel, API keys, or codebase. I'll confirm exactly what I need once I understand your setup.

What kind of integrations do you look at?

Shopify and WooCommerce apps, third party APIs, webhooks, listing feeds, and general e-commerce or SaaS plumbing. Not sure it fits? Email me and describe the problem, I'll tell you straight if it's not a good match.

How fast is turnaround?

5 business days from when I have access and can start investigating.

Is this an ongoing support contract?

No. It's a one off, fixed price engagement. No retainer, no subscription. A low risk way to work together for the first time.

Something not working? Let's find out why.

Email me a description of what's broken and I'll reply with next steps.
